First things first….The incredible stack I recommend for fat loss I’ll get to in a minute…..forget about Hydroxycut, Thermadrine and all the rest of that garbage available in the marketplace. The former standard was Ephedra. It worked and it was NOT dangerous if used as recommended. The replacement which is included in most OTC fat loss supplements now is Synephrine…which IS DANGEROUS. I do not recommend it as it not only increases you blood pressure, it increases the size of your prostate gland! STAY AWAY FROM OTC FAT LOSS SUPPLEMENTS!
Here is my preferred stack for fat loss:
1) increase your protein to 1 gram per pound of bodyweight (I weight 190 lbs so I would consume 190 grams of protein per day)
2) increase your fiber intake to 40 grams of fiber per day…..I eat a bowl of Fiber One cereal every morning (that’s 14 grams in one meal!) with just a splash of milk (or use cottage cheese, higher in protein! …I also recommend buying some orange flavored Metamucil and drinking that 2 times per days as a way to increase fiber. Eat green vegetables, especially broccoli…..
3) take fish oil capsules…this is my SECRET….I consume 6 grams of fish oil per day….if you weight more than 220 lbs. you need 8 grams of fish oil per day…..go to CVS or Walgreens and purchase the enteric-coated (no burp) fish oil. Spread your dosage over two meals and take with a meal…..It not only helps burn fat but it also decreases your triglycerides and cholesterol!!!
4) Slightly…increase your caffeine intake….I consume approx. 3 cups of coffee per day….I ALWAYS drink black coffee before exercise. This energizes the body and also increases the metabolism
5) Perform cardio-vascular exercise…either AFTER weight training –OR- first thing in the morning on an empty stomach (with exception of black coffee I recommend).
6) DO weight train…You need this to build muscle…the muscle you have, the higher your metabolism and the more fat you burn….
7) Snack between meals…consume 5 meals per day…three meals and high protein snacks…..NEVER skip breakfast
8) LAY OFF BEER!!! Beer and alcohol are empty calories and BEER will increase the girth of your waist! It is scientifically proven that the hops used in the manufacturing of beer increases your estrogen levels, which translates into an increase of abdominal fat.
