Best little abreviated exercise program!

You are a busy executive, a busy Mom, busy college student or simply pressed for time.....how do you stay fit?
You still gotta exercise DAILY! The secret to living to 100 is to break a sweat everyday (and a daily glass of red wine!).

I recommend three days in the gym and two-three additional days of brisk walking, jumping rope, or Yoga.

GYM WORKOUT:
This is based on one exercise per bodypart in circuit-style training:
Warm-up: 1o minutes on a piece of cardiovascular equipment (bike, elliptical, treadmill, etc.)

Immediately followed by the following:
Lunges (either walking, of stationary with Dumbells for added resistance)...20 reps
Standing calf raises (on the flat floor with the same dumbells in each hand)..25 reps
Chest Press (any type of chest press, or pushups or dips)...10 reps
Lat Pulldowns (I prefer wife grip pull-ups in you are strong enough)..10 reps
Shoulder Dumbell side lateral raises....15 reps
Any tricep exercise...12 reps
Any bicep exercise....12 reps
Any TWO abdominal exercises...20 reps..

Perform EA. exercise with little or NO rest between exercises.....rest 2 minutes at end of complete circuit and REPEAT circuit one more time....CONCLUDE workout with additional 10 minutes of cardiovascular exercise.

NOTE: If you are very fit and have the time....then perform 3 total circuits and conclude with 20 minutes of cardio exercise....I personally exercise 5 days per week in the gym with weights for only 20 total minutes and conclude with 20 minutes of cardio. On my days off from the gym I perform a 45 minute Yoga routine. Yes YOGA, its the macho thing to do!

I fully ENDORSE this diet!

Though I have always been a fan of the Atkins diet for the purpose of losing bodyfat; it is a little higher in saturated fats and dietary cholesterol than I am comfortable with. Nothing has worked better than Atkins for rapid and steady weight loss and it is scientifically proven that a high carbohydrate diet is not only unhealthy, but leads to obesity and diabetes (unless you are a marathon and runner or triathlete, those are the only exceptions!).
I have discovered a very healthy and very effective low carbohydrate diet that is lower in saturated fats and cholesterol. I fully endorse this diet and recommend that ALL of my personal training clients follow it. It is Jay Robb's "Fat Burning Diet."
It is found at:
http://www.jayrobb.com/

Direct link:

A summary:
For a very rapid, 1 week weight loss I recommend the "Fruit Flush Diet" booklet (simple downloadable e-book!).
For a life-long, slow but steady lifestyle eating plan, I recommend the e-book ("Fat Burning Diet made simple").
The combo is highly recommended for a reference source as well as recipes, but only available in paperback form.

NOTE: I receive absolutely NO compensation of any kind from Jay Robb. I endorse these books because they work. They are based on science and if followed, they will result in not only rapid and longterm fat loss, but improved health. I had to purchase these books myself and at no discount.
As you know by now, I am not in this business for the money, I am in it because MY PASSION is to help people live healthier, longer lives. I utilize God's gifts to help others. I truly believe the divine gifts bestowed upon me from Heaven is my knowledge, my methods for motivating people/clients and my own living example of good health and a "lean lifestyle."
AMEN!

The BEST of the BEST!

Here are few of BESTS in LIFE when it comes to health/Fitness of course:

1) Best form of exercise?
Resistance training, multiple sessions per week (cardio is important but if strapped for time, choose a fast-paced weight workout!)

2) Best type of exercise?
Any multi-joint compound movement that engages several muscles at once, not a single muscle in isolation. Don't think Dumbell Flys, think Incline Dumbell Press, don't think Lying Leg Curls, think Stiff-legged Bulgarian deadlifts, don't think leg extensions, think squats of lunges
3) Best time of day?
The very best time of day to train is first thing in the morning on an empty stomach (2nd best time is late evening, about two hours and one half hours before retiring for the evening, sleep)

4) Best Protein supplement?
My favorite not simply based on taste, but on macro-nutrients, is BSN brand Syntha-6. http://www.vitacost.com/BSN-Syntha-6-Chocolate-Milk-Shake

5) Best individual macro-nutrient?
Any vegetable, make it green...Broccoli is tops! So is asparagus, any vegetable, steam them, saut'e them in coconut oil, stir fry them and throw on a splash of soy sauce and sesame seeds. Vegetables are a "free food" meaning eat ALL YOU WANT, but listen to your Mom and eat 'em

6) the one best supplement?
Fish Oil...Hands down. It lowers triglycerides more effectively than prescription drugs, it thins the blood more effectively than aspirin or blood thinners, the list of its capabilities goes on and on. My favorite brand is:

and can be purchased here at a wonderful price:

That's about it for now.....If you follow this list of BESTS you cannot go wrong. Questions? email me: ktaylor966@yahoo.com
